This position functions as part of an Agile team with a strong emphasis on using Azure Dev Ops. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies and the Azure Dev Ops toolset.

• Long-term project with an initial point of engagement for one year, typically extending 3 to 5 years.
• Hybrid work environment with on-site interviews.
• Local-to-Michigan candidates preferred.

• Gather, document, and test clear, unambiguous business requirements.
• Understand business requirements thoroughly to communicate needs and system functionality to stakeholders.
• Serve as Scrum Master on projects, coordinating with the PMO Project Manager on artifacts and documentation for State of Michigan projects.
• Work with the project team and stakeholders to examine existing and future-state business processes, data, and systems.
• Use gathered information to guide business requirement gathering and execute test cases related to desired system functionality.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
• Create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on requirements.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing; log and track defects.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and coordinate with business partners.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Assist with system demonstrations, training materials, and production validation.
• Ensure documentation remains accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum three years experience as a Business Analyst.
• Minimum three years experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops (or similar, e.g., JIRA); comfortable creating epics, features, user stories, and moving cards through the project lifecycle.
• Understanding of BA, QA, and DEV roles/responsibilities.
• Experience with as‑is and to‑be processes and content creation.
• Experience creating product roadmaps.
• Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies and Agile.
• Proficiency with BA tools such as FIGMA and Visio.
