Job Description
:
This position requires on‑site workdays of Tuesday and Wednesday. The candidate must work 8 hours per day in the office on those days, with no exceptions. The ideal candidate will live within one hour of Lansing, MI. The first month of work will be on‑site five days per week for onboarding.

This role functions as part of an agile team with heavy use of Azure Dev Ops. The System Analyst 3 gathers, documents, and tests clear, unambiguous business requirements from the client, translates those needs into technical specifications for development teams, and serves as the Scrum Master. The analyst collaborates with the PMO Project Manager on project artifacts and documentation.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
• Create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on requirements.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing; log and track defects.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business partners.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Assist with system demonstrations, training materials, and production validation.
• Ensure documentation remains accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

• 3 years (or more) of Business Analysis experience.
• 3 years (or more) of Quality Assurance Analysis experience.
• 3 years of experience with Azure Dev Ops or a similar tool such as JIRA, including epics, features, and user stories, and moving cards through the project lifecycle.
• 3 years of knowledge of BA, QA, and Development roles and responsibilities.
• 3 years of experience with as‑is/to‑be processes and content creation.
• 3 years of experience creating product roadmaps.
• 3 years of experience with project management methodologies and Agile practices.
• 3 years of proficiency with BA/QA tools such as FIGMA and Visio.
