Business Analyst

Overview

Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Lansing, MI, (Hybrid) - Onsite from day 1, two days a week (required in-person days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Please note, the first month of work will require onsite presence 5 days per week for onboarding.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
• Create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on requirements.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing; log and track defects.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business partners.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Assist with system demonstrations, training materials, and production validation.
• Ensure documentation remains accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

• Skill Set (experience within last 5 years) –
• Business Analyst – 3 years
• Quality Assurance Analyst – 3 years
• Azure Dev Ops Knowledge or similar tool (e.g., JIRA) – capable of creating epics/features/user stories and moving cards through the project lifecycle – 3 years
• Understanding of BA, QA, DEV roles/responsibilities – 3 years
• Experience with as-is/to-be processes and content creation – 3 years
• Experience with creating product roadmap – 3 years
• Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies/Agile – 3 years
• Adept with using BA/QA tools (e.g., Figma, Visio) – 3 years
