Business Analyst - Lansing, MI
Duration: 12 Months (Hybrid)
Seeking for a Business Analyst to collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and delivery teams. This role acts as a bridge between business operations and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and are adopted by end users.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Analysis & Process Modeling:
- Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and business operating procedures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and operational impacts.
- Document manual processes, workarounds, and exception-handling procedures.
- Create end-to-end business and system interaction diagrams.
- Product Owner Support:
- Refine and maintain product backlogs.
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Provide recommendations on requirements traceability and business validation.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Coordinate UAT execution activities with stakeholders.
- Track test execution, results, and acceptance decisions.
- Support business process testing and release readiness assessments.
- Training & Organizational Readiness:
- Support training plans and create training materials.
- Facilitate training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
- Azure Dev Ops (ADO) Support:
- Support backlog traceability and assist with ADO dashboards and reporting.
- Documentation & Governance:
- Create and maintain project documentation and requirements artifacts.
- Document business rules and exception processing requirements.
- 8 years of experience gathering requirements from users.
- 6 years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation.
- 4 years of experience with Agile methodology / SCRUM processes.
- 3 years of experience with Azure Dev Ops backlog management tools.
- Experience supporting Product Owners in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience creating training plans and operational readiness documentation.
- Experience with large-scale government, healthcare, or enterprise system implementations.
