Job Summary
The Software Test Analyst 5 position will serve as a contract resource for the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supporting the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The role is part of the MDHHS Accounts Receivable and Collections (MDHHS ARC) Project, where the analyst will design and execute manual and automated test cases, generate test plans and strategies, produce testing reports and metrics, perform API testing, and conduct ADA compliance testing.
Required Qualifications (5+ years of experience)- Designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
- Analyzing requirements, user stories in Azure Dev Ops, and acceptance criteria to create effective, reusable test cases (positive, negative, and boundary).
- Generating and documenting test plans and strategies.
- Performing API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Client.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes, including Quality Assurance
