This position functions as part of an Agile team with heavy understanding and usage of the Azure Dev Ops tool. The System Analyst is responsible for gathering, documenting, and testing clear, unambiguous business requirements from the client and communicating business needs and system functionality to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, project team members, and the user community. The Analyst serves as the Scrum Master (using Azure Dev Ops) on projects and coordinates with the PMO’s project manager for artifacts and documentation needed.
The Analyst works with the project team and stakeholders to examine existing and future‑state business processes, data, and systems, guiding the gathering of business requirements and executing test cases related to the desired system functionality.
Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
- Create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, and regression testing; log and track defects.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business partners.
- Validate that delivered solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Assist with system demonstrations, training materials, and production validation.
- Ensure documentation remains accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Business Analyst experience 3+ years – candidates must have both BA and QA experience.
- Quality Assurance Analyst experience 3+ years – candidates must have both BA and QA experience.
- Azure Dev Ops knowledge or similar tool such as JIRA – 3 years.
- Understanding of BA, QA, DEV roles/responsibilities – 3 years.
- Experience with as‑is/to‑be processes and content creation – 3 years.
- Experience with creating product road‑map – 3 years.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies/Agile – 3 years.
- Adept with BA/QA tools (e.g., FIGMA, Visio) – 3 years.
