Project Manager
Location:
Hybrid (3 days onsite) LANSING, Mi
Duration: 12 months
Rate: DOE U.S. Citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time
Requirements- 7 years of IT project management experience
- Proven record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- 7 years' experience in project budgets, schedules, change requests, risk, and issue logs
- 7 years' experience in developing and delivering project status
- 5 years' experience using project portfolio management systems/tools (e.g., Clarity)
- PMP Certification (3 years highly desired)
- 5 years advanced working knowledge of MS Project
- 5 years' experience handling various stakeholders and system owners from other departments (highly desired)
- 5 years' experience managing multi-vendor environments in government settings (highly desired)
- Client Project Management Office supporting LARA, DIFS & MDOS, Lottery with a multi-year high priority legacy modernization project.
- Part of the DTMB Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), works closely with DTMB Agency Services technical teams as well as with agency executives/stakeholders
- Utilize Clarity to prepare project schedules, assign resources, and manage budgets
- Prepare presentations for executives, managers, and project team members
- Monitor, control, and communicate project progress, managing cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks
- Ensure clear, timely, and accurate communications with stakeholders
- Provide leadership and foster collaboration between technical and business teams
- Develop and maintain key project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage interfaces related to communication with other agencies
- Ensure project adherence to SUITE PMM and SEM methodologies
- Facilitate and enforce the Change Management process
- Create project Corrective Action Plans (CAP) when necessary
- Understand project benefits and impact of change requests
- Review and manage vendor contracts and deliverables
- Facilitate interactions among stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed
