Senior Salesforce Business Analyst – Lansing, MI

Hybrid work model: on‑site 2 days per week. Full‑time, 15‑month temporary assignment.

Job Description

This position functions as a behavioural health customer relationship management (BH CRM) analyst to support the development, implementation, monitoring, and continued improvements of complex strategic initiatives. The analyst coordinates and communicates with project teams, BH CRM staff, business owners, leadership, IT, and contractors to operationalize business processes into the BH CRM, support program guidance development, create training materials, and monitor program data.

Education
  • Associate’s Degree
Required Experience, Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst.
  • 5+ years working with Salesforce applications.
  • 5+ years QA/Testing experience.
Preferred Experience , Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
  • Local State or Federal government experience.
  • Azure Dev Ops.
  • FedRAMP.
  • HIPAA.
  • Nice CXone or other contact center suite.
  • Experience with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems.
  • Familiar with industry‑standard business process mapping and reengineering.
  • Creativity and latitude required.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Familiarity with relational database and client‑server concepts.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Technologically savvy with excellent oral and written communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong data‑management skills.
  • Experience in process‑improvement project management and data management.
Job Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, evaluate, and prioritize business and user needs.
  • Triage user requests and tickets, assigning priority and severity, and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and prioritize CRM inbox communications.
  • Draft and send communications to users and specific audiences about business‑process upgrades, timelines, and system changes.
  • Formulate systems that support overall business strategies.
  • Prepare solution options and risk identification and financial analyses such as cost‑benefit, ROI, and buy/build trade‑offs.
  • Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
  • Prepare and document functional and technical specifications for reporting and data‑warehouse work.
  • Assist with business‑warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements.
  • Assist with developing and drafting RFPs.
  • Assist in deployment and management of end‑user reporting tools and platforms.
  • Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data‑warehousing requirements and propose solutions.
  • Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the Enterprise Reporting Team for all solutions.
  • Perform a variety of tasks with limited supervision, typically reporting to a project manager.
  • Attend all BH CRM meetings as appropriate and assigned.
  • Assist QA/Testing team when required by volume of work.
