Role Overview

The Software Configuration Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of vendor software solutions, including Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products. This role requires a strong understanding of solution architecture, business processes, and data requirements to ensure optimal system performance, security, and efficiency.

Design, document, configure, test, validate, implement, and manage Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software products, customizing solutions as needed to meet business requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design scalable solutions, optimize platform performance, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the Service Now ecosystem.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• Two or more years of experience in software configuration, development, testing, system administration, and/or maintenance
• Strong knowledge of software configuration, testing, and maintenance best practices
• Strong vendor management and relationship management skills
• Ability to identify and manage constraints within vendor platforms, including technical limitations and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with vendor-provided software solutions and COTS products
• Solid understanding of solution architecture and business processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, ensuring software solutions meet quality standards and operate efficiently
• Expertise in troubleshooting and performance optimization to support system reliability and continuous improvement
