IT Consultant, IT QA Tester / Automation, Technical Support, Systems Analyst
Our client seeks a Salesforce/CRM Tester who is comfortable with Testing salesforce applications and utilizing Azure Dev Ops for designing, maintaining, and executing test cases.
Tasks:
- Work in an agile environment and understand agile methodologies.
- Participate in vendor requirement sessions with customers and understand the requirements and be comfortable writing Test Plans/Test Suites in Azure Dev Ops and easily maintainable for SOM.
- Work with the customer, vendor, and Development Team to define Test scripts based on requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
- Proficiency in interpreting requirements/user stories and writing test cases using Azure Dev Ops.
- Participate in defining and designing activities of the project engagement, to ensure a full understanding of client requirements prepared by the project team.
- Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments of the applications used by the enterprise.
- Strong hands-on experience in writing positive and native test cases in Azure Dev Ops as per Salesforce Application needs.
- Identify automation framework and make recommendations for improvements.
- Familiarity with testing salesforce service cloud, including web services and Rest API, SOAP API, and Bulk API, using tools like SoapUI, Postman, or similar applications.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testing results meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Develops and writes automated test scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected.
- Work with test engineers to implement new automation scripts and diagnose problems
- with existing scripts in a Continuous Integration environment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and automation testing tools.
- Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
- Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
- Devise a training plan for the team for a smooth and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations.
- Participation in each phase of full Salesforce lifecycle implementations.
- Analyze the impact of new solutions/enhancements and run appropriate regression testing.
- Document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects through to resolution in Azure Dev Ops.
- Ensure full traceability between test scripts, results, and client requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing test scripts.

- In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of Salesforce.
- Self-motivated and can work under dynamic conditions and within deadlines.

NOTE:
Local candidates only (must reside within 90-miles from Lansing, MI. Relocation not allowed. Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. (Tuesday/Wednesday). MS Teams video for 1st round interviews and 2nd round interviews will be conducted in person at Lansing office.

- Salesforce object knowledge such as flows, App Exchange packages, Lightning, Apex, and Significant QA Experience. (This can come either in the form of real-world experience or actual hands-on background with Salesforce)
- Experience with Government / Public Health Processes and guidelines
