This Information Technology Programmer Analyst position supports the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget. The role involves completing and maintaining System Security Plans for 150+ applications based on NIST 800-53 standards, interpreting security implementations, and supporting internal and federal audits. Additional responsibilities include training staff, providing outreach, and conducting presentations on compliance topics.
Key qualifications:- Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assu
- Associate's degree with 16 semester credits in IT-related fields plus two years of IT experience, or four years of IT experience in lieu of degree
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and IT security frameworks
- Experience with System Security Plans and IT compliance documentation
- Ability to train both IT and non-IT staff on compliance processes
