The Client Specialist supports the Michigan Department of Education and Center for Educational Performance and Information as part of the Department of Technology, Management and Budget. This role involves triaging and resolving IT issues for clients, facilitating escalations according to department policies, and assisting with security compliance. The position works with state employees, contractors, architects, developers, and agency business clients in a hybrid work environment.
Keyqualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 21+ semester credits in computer science, IT, data communications, networking, or related field
- Three years of professional IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst experience (or equivalent alternate education and experience combinations)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to prepare clear documentation
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to establish and maintain effective client and cross-functional relationships
- Problem-solving capability with focus on timely issue resolution and optimum solutions
