IT Procurement Manager

Michigan Farm Bureau seeks an IT Procurement Manager to lead technology sourcing across our Insurance and Supply Chain functions. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end procurement for hardware, software, and IT services, negotiate contracts, and optimize vendor relationships to support member-focused operations. Partnering closely with IT, Finance, and business leaders, you'll align purchasing strategies with organizational goals, ensure compliance, and drive cost-effective, secure solutions that advance Michigan agriculture and our community-focused mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT sourcing for hardware, software, and services to support insurance operations
• Negotiate vendor contracts, licensing, and service agreements to optimize value and manage risk
• Partner with IT, Finance, and business leaders to forecast technology needs and manage budgets
• Develop and implement procurement policies aligned with MFB's mission and member focus
• Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and compliance with contractual terms
• Identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities across the IT supply chain
• Ensure procurement practices support data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic technology and policy initiatives
