AboutThe Role
This position leads the daily technology operations and supervision of technology systems, services and technology staff within the local education agency (LEA). The Technology Coordinator is responsible for purchasing, installation, and maintenance of hardware, software, servers, network systems as well as support of the Student Information System (SIS). This role will oversee all aspects of managing IT projects and resolving technology issues working in a school district setting with staff and students.
QualificationsDesired
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Technology, Computer Sciences, or a related field preferred. Five or more years experience in industry may be considered in lieu of degree
- Current experience in leadership, supervision or management role, ideally in a technology environment
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills which promote positive partnerships with staff, the ISD, constituent districts and partner organizations
