** Job Description
** Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Operational Services Division as a Warehouse Technician. This job consists of performing the processes and procedures that are needed to fulfill all customer orders and requests. This is done under general supervision.

Essential Functions:

* Filling customer orders with a very high level of accuracy.
* Perform assigned jobs efficiently.
* Ability to determine appropriate packaging needed for damage free shipping.
* Recognizes and reports inaccurate information on requests and orders.
* Ability to operate shipping equipment and software.
* Regularly participates in ensuring the accuracy of the inventory.
* Regular and consistent attendance in meeting a defined work schedule.
* Occasionally required to lift or move up to 75 pounds
* Good ability/experience with hand tools

Other Functions:
* Assist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere on request.
* Good driving record, may require operation of a truck for supply delivery.
* CDL license would be valuable
* Able to safely operate materials handling equipment
* Basic knowledge of the SAP processes and how they are used in our Warehouse operation.
** Desired Skills and Experience
** Ability to communicate in a positive manner with branches, agents, and departments. Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions. Basic computer knowledge may be required. A chauffeur’s license and a satisfactory driving record may be required. Ability to maintain a professional image.
