Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for overseeing the safety, structural integrity, and financial performance of multi-site, multi-scale operations. This role bridges the gap between daily operations and long-term capital improvement projects, with a strong emphasis on organizational planning, risk mitigation, safety compliance (OSHA), and vendor management. Directs and oversees all facilities operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs, environmental services, fleet management, security services, and regulatory compliance across all sites.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to administrative and technical supervision, budget preparation, goals and objectives, relevant policy development and decision-making, as well as the implementation of CMHA-CEI policies and procedures. Responsible for carrying out all activities in a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
- Oversee safety, structural integrity, and financial performance of multi-site, multi-scale operations; bridge daily operations with long-term capital improvement projects; emphasize organizational planning, risk mitigation, safety compliance (OSHA), and vendor management.
- Direct and oversee facilities operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance, environmental services, fleet management, security services, and regulatory compliance across all sites.
- Provide administrative and technical supervision, budget preparation, goals and objectives, policy development and decision-making, and implement CMHA-CEI policies and procedures.
- Carry out activities in a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services, Organizational Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in design, implementation and analysis of human services or the equivalent.
- At least three years’ work experience in positions which provided for large-scale project-based leadership or in a progressively more responsible position.
- Experience with evaluation, research, report writing and project management.
- Experience with strategic planning and implementation.
- Background verification and credentialing procedure including:
Michigan State Police clearance check, Central Registry Screening, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history. - Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
