Manage the legal department support staff and operations of the department, including workflow processes, all associated technology, and management of departmental vendor relationships.
PAY RANGE: Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate’s skills and professional experience, geographic location, market, and other potential factors. An estimated range for this role is between $94,500 and $158,350.
Responsibilities- Plan, direct, manage, and evaluate the day‑to‑day operations and production of OGC.
- Facilitate departmental software needs, system changes, and training, including matter management software and panel counsel billing system.
- Oversee handling of all incoming mail for litigated matters.
- Oversee handling of all incoming mail for litigated claims across multiple brands.
- Oversee all electronic and other court filings and service of documents as required in various jurisdictional filings.
- Manage, draft and maintain claim litigation workflows and processes, including various electronic filing interfaces.
- Employ excellent verbal and written communication to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal units and external customers (law firms, agencies).
- Develop and implement procedures and measurements to ensure customer service levels are met.
- Reporting and report preparation.
- Supervise employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- 1 year of leadership experience.
- 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.
- PMP certification preferred (not required).

- Ability to perform assignments at locations outside the office.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to insurance.
