Position Overview
Sr. Consulting Project Managers deliver transformation projects for strategic Autodesk customers as part of our Customer Success Consulting team. You will manage multiple medium to large projects or programs of work at a time and lead the execution and completion of all consulting services for our customers. Your focus will be on ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities- Project manage consulting projects, including data migration, software development, and software training initiatives.
- Lead internal and external team members to meet project goals.
- Maintain communication among account and project teams and lead project review meetings.
- Translate project scope and vision into clear goals for the team.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and control tools using standard PM and PSA software.
- Comply with internal reporting standards and practices.
- Perform project plan analysis, evaluate risk, and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Support sales and business development by writing and reviewing proposals, scopes of work, and delivery estimates.
- Develop strong client and stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels.
- 6-10 years of experience as a project manager, ideally in a professional services or consulting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- PMP/PMI qualified or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve project objectives and deliver projects within cost and schedule constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross‑functional team of technical experts, sales, subject matter experts, and other project managers.
- Ability to review and write scopes of work, project documentation, and develop and present presentations.
- Coaching and leadership skills, coupled with a collaborative and inclusive mindset.
