Job Summary

DRYmedic® Restoration Services is currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Reconstruction Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our reconstruction staff and managing project administration activities.

As the Reconstruction Coordinator, you'll work closely with the Project Manager, Client, Contractors, and Reconstruction Staff to monitor activities, resolve issues, and ensure timely project completion. You'll also be responsible for preparing and maintaining required documentation, monitoring job files for accuracy, and managing TPA compliance and communications. To excel in this role, you'll need to be a strong communicator with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

You'll have experience with staffing, scheduling, assigning crews, and managing project administration activities.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate activities with the Project Manager, Client, Contractors, and Mitigation Staff.
  • Ensure high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure the efficient use of labor, machines, and materials used by the crew.
  • Take an active role in the selection, training, assignment, and supervision of mitigation staff, including monitoring performance, providing feedback, and taking corrective action.
  • Coordinate the daily activities of mitigation staff
  • Assist in the resolution of job issues, change requests, and staff, site, and equipment problems.
  • Monitor job progress and costs and provide regular progress reporting to management.
  • Manage all project administration activities including staffing, scheduling, assigning crews, timekeeping review, purchase orders, and safety reporting.
  • Establish effective onsite communications and progress reporting with sub-trades and clients.
  • Mediate and resolve disputes
  • Prepare and maintain required documentation.
  • Monitor job files from beginning to end for accuracy
  • Set up inspections with homeowners
  • Prepare material/equipment sign-off sheets
  • Assist Project Managers with contracting vendors, organizing equipment, planning and organizing crews/multiple jobs simultaneously
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • IICRC accreditations are an asset
  • Restoration/Renovation experience (Preferred)
  • 3 years experience as a Construction/Project Coordinator.
  • Strong management, delegation, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Effectiveness in the areas of safety and productivity.
  • Have oral and written communication expertise which is complimented with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask in a busy environment.
  • Able to create alternative solutions to problems.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.
  • Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise necessary cost control measures.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Strong working knowledge of technology/computers.
