This is a chance to take ownership of a full-lifecycle PM role in a busy healthcare-driven office while also helping the team expand into higher ed, commercial, and public-sector work.
Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year
Our client is an established Michigan commercial construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering work across healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and community-focused markets, known for combining technical execution with a relationship-driven approach.
ResponsibilitiesThe role is initially centered on healthcare construction, with future exposure to higher education, commercial, community projects, and ground-up work. It is a full lifecycle PM position that includes:
- Preconstruction and estimating support
- Bid scopes and pricing presentations
- Subcontractor buyout and negotiation
- Budget and cost management
- Scheduling (Procore, MS Project or CPM scheduling)
- RFIs, change orders, and monthly pay apps
- Healthcare safety/infection-control compliance
- Closeout
Candidates should bring proven Project Manager experience with a General Contractor, full-process ownership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to run multiple smaller projects lthcare construction is a strong plus, but not required. Ground-up, higher ed, commercial, or historic renovation experience are all attractive as well.
Technical expectations include proficiency in Procore, MS Project or CPM scheduling, budgeting/cost control, subcontractor management, construction document review, and strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools. This role is local to Lansing with no remote/commuter setup, generally minimal travel, and roughly 75–90% office-based work.
