Pay Range: $150,000 – 160,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
The Aftermarket Parts Leader is fully accountable for the Commercial Aftermarket Parts business across the Americas region. This role provides strategic direction and day-to-day operational oversight across customer service, inside sales, purchasing, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics.
In addition, this role serves as the regional Commercial Operations (Com Ops) lead across all Clyde Union pump product lines — including Parts, Service, and Units. While day-to-day aftermarket service and repair activities are managed by service center managers operating outside this reporting structure, the Aftermarket Parts Leader plays a key supporting role in associated commercial opportunities by facilitating the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process: coordinating required documentation and convening the appropriate stakeholders for opportunity review and approval based on established business triggers such as price thresholds, engineering considerations, and cash flow impact.
This role is a critical interface across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Procurement and requires a commercially astute leader capable of driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and team performance simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and grow the Commercial Aftermarket Parts business across the Americas region, with ownership of commercial performance and customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Provide leadership across all commercial and operational functions: customer service, inside sales, purchasing, warehouse/stocking levels, and logistics.
- Lead regional commercial operations for aftermarket tendering, serving as the Aftermarket Commercial Operations Lead for the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process across the Americas.
- Provide oversight and escalation support for nuclear aftermarket parts customer service for Clyde Union Parts accounts supporting manufacturing facilities.
- Provide oversight and escalation support for nuclear replacement pump tendering.
- Responsible for weekly regional revenue forecasting (Pulse), ensuring accuracy and alignment targets.
- Champion and lead continuous process improvement initiatives across the Americas aftermarket Parts organization.
- Build and sustain a high-performing team through active performance management, coaching, and talent development.
- Prepare and own BRM (Business Review Meeting) submissions for Parts, ensuring accurate data, meaningful analysis, and strategic alignment.
- Review and approve SDRs (Special Discount Requests), balancing commercial competitiveness with margin integrity.
- Act as escalation support across Engineering, Finance, and Procurement when operational or customer issues require senior-level intervention.
- Lead the weekly commercial operations alignment meeting to coordinate aftermarket pump tendering activities and provide direction to regional team members.
- Serve as the primary escalation point of contact for Sales when expedited quoting is required.
- Monitor aftermarket parts business performance through key metrics and financial indicators; take action to address variances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement process enhancements and drive consistent, scalable operational practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, quality, and safety requirements across all managed functions.
Skills and Abilities
- Deep understanding of aftermarket parts commercial operations in an industrial or energy sector environment, including customer service, tendering, pricing, and supply chain.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage pricing strategy, margin performance, and customer negotiations.
- Proven leadership capability; able to direct cross-functional teams and drive results across a geographically distributed organization.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Process improvement mindset with practical experience applying methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
