Operations Manager | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $106,000 - $154,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met efficiently.
- Implement and monitor production schedules, optimizing resource allocation and workflow.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Manage operational budgets, control expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
- Analyze operational performance data and implement corrective actions to drive efficiency and meet KPIs.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing production teams.
- Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain management, and quality control systems.
- Experience with P&L responsibility, budget management, and driving cost efficiencies.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience with automation technologies or Industry 4.0 initiatives
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
