Warehouse Worker
We are seeking a dedicated Onsite Technician to join our team on the 1st shift. The role involves working Monday through Thursday with 10‑hour shifts from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. This position includes a 30‑minute unpaid lunch and two 15‑minute breaks.
2nd shift 2:30 pm – 11 pm (30 minute unpaid lunch).
Monday – Friday with two Saturdays on and one Saturday off for the rest of the year. During the weeks Saturday are needed, the workers would work Saturday, but have another day off during the week. Or, if they are needed Monday‑Saturday would be paid for their time accordingly.
Responsibilities- Make waste and trash pickups throughout the customer's facility, including cardboard, plastic, and metal scraps.
- Operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
- Move and empty trash gondolas within the plant.
- Experience in packing, production, picking, packaging, material handling, assembly, shipping, and receiving.
- Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.
- Forklift operation skills or willingness to be trained.
- Knowledge of HAZWOPER practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred:
Forklift experience (training available if necessary). - Preferred: OSHA 40 training (provided if necessary).
- Safety boots (steel‑toe or composite) are required.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a busy and noisy facility, requiring diligence and attention to safety protocols. The company provides necessary personal protective equipment, except for safety boots, which employees must bring. The environment is fast‑paced, offering a vibrant and energetic workplace.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.50/hr.
