Overview
An Aerospace customer of Insight Global is in need of a Materials Supervisor. The Materials Supervisor is a hands-on, frontline leadership role responsible for the day-to-day execution of material flow across the site. This position provides direct oversight of union-represented material handlers and ensures the efficient movement of materials through receiving storage, point-of-use delivery, and shipping to support production requirements.
This role is highly tactical and floor-focused, requiring strong leadership presence, accountability, and the ability to quickly resolve issues impacting operations. In parallel, the supervisor will play a key role in developing and improving standard work, driving process consistency, and supporting short- and long-term material management initiatives.
Responsibilities- Provide direct oversight of union-represented material handlers and ensure efficient movement of materials through receiving, storage, point-of-use delivery, and shipping to support production requirements.
- Lead day-to-day material flow across the site with a hands-on, frontline leadership approach.
- Develop and improve standard work, drive process consistency, and support material management initiatives (short- and long-term).
Compensation Range: 35/hr to 45/hr exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, DCFSA options, and 401k with employer matching. Paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements- Experience in manufacturing/materials or warehouse operations
- Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
- Strong floor leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience with lean principles and 5S implementation
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive process improvements
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally
- Previous professional experience in a Supply Chain/Materials Leadership role in an Aerospace organization
