Aerospace Materials Supervisor

Overview

An Aerospace customer of Insight Global is in need of a Materials Supervisor. The Materials Supervisor is a hands-on, frontline leadership role responsible for the day-to-day execution of material flow across the site. This position provides direct oversight of union-represented material handlers and ensures the efficient movement of materials through receiving storage, point-of-use delivery, and shipping to support production requirements.

This role is highly tactical and floor-focused, requiring strong leadership presence, accountability, and the ability to quickly resolve issues impacting operations. In parallel, the supervisor will play a key role in developing and improving standard work, driving process consistency, and supporting short- and long-term material management initiatives.

• Provide direct oversight of union-represented material handlers and ensure efficient movement of materials through receiving, storage, point-of-use delivery, and shipping to support production requirements.
• Lead day-to-day material flow across the site with a hands-on, frontline leadership approach.
• Develop and improve standard work, drive process consistency, and support material management initiatives (short- and long-term).

Compensation Range: 35/hr to 45/hr exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.

• Experience in manufacturing/materials or warehouse operations
