Offloads and packs parts painted on the powder coating line, performing quality checks such as mil thickness and gloss tests. May require overtime, including weekends and daily overtime. Works with team to spot nonconformances and report to Team Lead.
Responsibilities- Offload parts from various racks based on the supplied Paint Line Schedule.
- Pack and skid accurately and efficiently while performing quality checks such as Mil Thickness and Gloss tests.
- Visually inspect parts for defects such as contamination, heavy or light paint, etc.
- Alert Team Lead of any non‑conformances.
- Assist with pre‑racking parts as needed.
- Accurately complete all work documentation, including tracking time and quantity offloaded, and fill out necessary scrap tags.
- Fill in at other work areas in the company as needed. Work well with teammates.
- Look for ways to improve line capacity and quality.
- May be required to work off shifts as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Trained in and follows company safety policies and procedures and participates in the continuous improvement and corrective action programs.
