Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Lansing that are seeking skilled Finishing Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Manage and train a team of finishing technicians, fostering a high-performance environment.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and process issues.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate performance reports.
• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing all company safety policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing finishing department, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in various finishing techniques (e.g., painting, powder coating, plating, polishing).
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and inspection procedures relevant to finishing processes.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, including training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
