Position: Paint Technician (day & afternoon shifts available) Peninsula Powder Coating

Peninsula Powder Coating seeks full-time Paint Technicians to join their team in Baraga, Michigan.

We’re looking for a hands-on team player. As a Powder Coating Paint Technician, you’ll operate painting equipment, keep our paint booths and curing ovens clean and running smoothly, and take pride in producing high-quality finishes. WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $16.00 – $20.00 per hour starting pay based on your experience.

SCHEDULES AVAILABLE.This is full-time position. Schedules may flex based on company production needs.

  • Day shift: 7am – 3:30pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Afternoon shift: 3:30pm – 2am (Monday-Thursday)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • Minimum 1-year manufacturing or industrial experience preferred; previous industrial painting experience a bonus.
  • Possess a physical ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. This position safely lifts, hangs, and places products for painting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with solid technical skills. Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to work in an environment with exposure to paint powders necessary to powder coat industrial products.
  • Ability to practice safe work practices by lifting properly, wearing protective equipment/clothing (footwear, full-face respirators, hearing protection, as needed.), and maintain a safe work environment always.
  • Strong work ethic that ensures our paint processes meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • You are organized, reliable, and work well individually and as a team member.
  • You work well under time constraints and can ensure deadlines are met.
