As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in manufacturing high-quality components by operating a variety of metalworking equipment and assembling parts to precise specifications. You will interpret technical drawings, apply shop math, and use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and consistency. This position offers the opportunity to work hands‑on in a dynamic manufacturing environment while contributing to the production of reliable, industry‑leading products.
InThis Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Precision machine operating responsibilities.
- Basic blueprint reading and shop math.
- Test and calibrate components and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Use and operate fabrication equipment in work centers such as grinding, honing, passivation, assembly and test, lathes, mills, and heat treat.
- Use various oils and chemicals for some machine operations.
- Identify product that fails tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
- Perform changeover of tools, fixtures and test setups.
- Observe established safe working, housekeeping procedures and promptly correct and/or notify supervisor.
- All supplemental duties, responsibilities, or non‑essential requirements as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED or 2 years of experience required.
- No experience required with high school diploma/GED;
Between 1‑3 years of experience is preferred. - Ability to produce a quality part at a productive rate.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Teamwork.
- While performing duties may be required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist or lift.
- May be required to work more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week based on departmental needs.
- Office and manufacturing environment.
- May be exposed to manufacturing plant conditions and elements including but not limited to noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease.
- PPE may be required including safety glasses, ear plugs and safety shoes in specified areas of the plant.
