- Manage all aspects of assigned hourly workforce performing FAA Safety Sensitive Work (time & attendance, time off, rewards, vouchering, training, communications, etc.)
- Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures, completing required training, and supporting committee activities.
- Meet business metrics goals for each cell (Cost, Quality, Delivery, EH&S).
- Lead process improvement opportunities to enhance quality, reduce cycle time, and cut operational costs.
- Implement root‑cause corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Plan and execute contingency plans, meet schedule.
- Train, coach, and facilitate daily shift‑to‑shift communications to ensure effective hand‑offs.
- Advanced degree with 3+ years experience in Operations, Engineering, Military, Business Management, Manufacturing, Aerospace or Aftermarket; OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience; OR Associate’s degree with 7+ years experience; OR High School diploma or Military/Technical Training with 9+ years experience.
- Degree in STEM field, Engineering, Business or Supply Chain is preferred.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate (A&P license) is a plus.
- 2 years of operations leadership in a manufacturing production environment.
- Aftermarket Aerospace, Composite and MRO industry experience.
- Personnel management experience, ideally within a bargaining unit / union workforce.
- Knowledge of union‑management collective bargaining agreements.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, coach, develop talent, and motivate teams to meet business goals.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/Six Sigma, QCPC, RCCA).
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP ERP, and Solumina MES.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Potential short‑term and long‑term incentive compensation depends on level and collective‑bargaining status.
