Summary / ObjectiveThe production clerk is responsible for creating product tags, load sheets, work order packets and labels for the manufacturing and shipping departments. This position also assembles plussing binders and run sheets necessary for the manufacturing of Green Cell Foam.
Duties and Responsibilities- Create product tags and loading sheets for the shipping department.
- Construct work order packets and labels per the manufacturing production schedule.
- Assemble binders for the plussing department and work order packets for fabrication.
- Compile live entry run sheets for fabrication, plussing and press.
- Assist direct manufacturing in covering breaks and lunches for employees.
- Calculate and enter boxes‑per‑hour data for each customer on the shift notes spreadsheet.
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
- Coordinate with KTM staff/engineers on production order status to meet shipping deadlines.

High school diploma required;
Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum one year of inventory/manufacturing experience required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; effective presentation of information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
Math AbilityAdd, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rates, ratios, percentages; draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning AbilityApply common sense to carry out instructions; solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer SkillsKnowledge of word processing software and inventory software.
Work EnvironmentEmployee occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise usually moderate.
Physical DemandsRegular use of hands; frequent standing, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing; occasional walking, climbing, balancing; occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
