Job Summary
We are seeking a hands‑on and detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to support quality and containment projects in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in rework, inspection, and containment activities. The Project Coordinator will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and support site launches while leading small teams.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee on‑site quality and containment activities
- Support mechanical rework operations and ensure adherence to specifications
- Communicate with customers, supervisors, and inspectors to maintain workflow and resolve issues
- Ensure all project documentation, reports, and quality records are accurate and completed on time
- Assist with site launch activities, including setup, training, and process validation
- Provide direction and support to small teams to achieve project goals
- Perform dimensional inspections using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, height gages)
- Maintain flexibility to meet production demands, including overtime and weekend work as needed
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality, containment, or supervisory roles
- Experience with mechanical rework and inspection processes required
- Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and quality standards
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Engineering background or education preferred, but not required
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams in a fast‑paced environment
- Must be flexible to travel and work varying hours as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience (5–7 years in quality/containment or manufacturing environment) may be considered in place of a degree
