CNC Mill Programmer

CNC Machine Operator

This individual will have extensive Horizontal Boring Mill or Vertical Gantry Mill experience on CNC machines running low quantity parts. The ability to program efficiently by writing programs with G&M code and/or utilizing CAM software. He will have proper knowledge of trigonometry and a strong understanding of all machining/cutting calculations. Knowledge and experience setting up very large weldments / fabrications and large castings (qualifying parts).

3+2 Axis, allows for 5 sided machining in one setup, but not a true simultaneous 5 Axis machine. Fanuc 15i-M Control Mastercam or similar CAM software experience highly recommended. The responsibilities for the operator of this machine are as follows:
Set-up and qualify part on machine. Program machine to perform all cutting functions to part. Machine part Inspect part and fill out inspection report. Tear down set-ups and remove part from machine (with assistance). Repeat.
