CNC Lathe Machinist / Set Up / Programmer
Schedule:
5:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday
Hourly pay:
Up to $30 an hour, depending on experience.
We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client’s manufacturing team. This hands‑on position offers the opportunity to work with CNC lathe equipment, contribute to quality production, and grow your machining career in a dynamic environment.
What we are looking for:Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands‑on experience operating CNC lathes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, scales)
- Solid understanding of basic mathematics for production calculations
- Ability to meet physical demands: walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs regularly
- Journeyman machinist certification (we value your expertise!)
- Experience with CNC programming and troubleshooting
- Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe equipment to produce quality parts
- Monitor production quality through basic charting and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Review and troubleshoot CNC programs to optimize efficiency
- Safely operate forklift equipment (license required or will train)
- Maintain accurate production records and daily reports
- Support additional projects as needed
