Cycle Counter

Job Summary

Provide support to the Materials Department by maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and other means.

Essential Functions
  • Execute small- and large-scale cycle counts accurately and repeatably in an efficient manner.
  • Attention to detail is critical in this role.
  • Ability to use (or learn) ERP systems;
    Plex knowledge is preferred.
  • Properly enter and maintain inventory data in our ERP system (location moves, merging/splitting, and control panel).
  • Ability to operate a forklift or ability to learn one.
  • Participate in departmental continuous improvement efforts and support/implement lean initiatives.
  • Complete work with a safety‑first mindset and follow all EH&S policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Support the company's mission, vision, and values in performance of daily activities.
  • Maintain high level of housekeeping in the work area, including 5S.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, external regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
  • Other duties as directed by management/supervisor, including but not limited to kitting.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work on schedule.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions.
  • Familiarity with basic tools, equipment, and materials used in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Willingness to work cooperatively with others and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality with consistent adherence to work schedules.
  • Willingness to take initiative, learn new skills, and perform tasks with minimal supervision when needed.
  • Commitment to following safety policies, company procedures, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and focus on repetitive or routine tasks while meeting company standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Understanding basic quality and environmental policies, including AS9100 and ISO 14001 principles.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Background Prerequisites

Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environment.
  • Familiarity with quality or inspection procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or hands‑on experience with tools or machinery.
  • Desire and ability to grow into higher-skill or leadership roles over time.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and handle materials or tools.
  • Frequently lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Work performed in a production or manufacturing setting, which may involve exposure to noise, moving machinery, or other environmental factors.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while performing tasks repetitively or in standardized situations.
