Salary Range: $61,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train junior machinists on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Program, set up, and operate advanced CNC machinery for precision part fabrication.
• Interpret complex engineering blueprints, specifications, and CAD models to determine machining processes.
• Perform quality control checks using various measuring tools to ensure parts meet precise tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, including tool wear, material defects, and machine malfunctions.
• Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to program, set up, and operate various CNC machinery (mills, lathes)
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and metrology tools
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring junior machinists and overseeing projects
• Expertise in selecting appropriate tooling, work holding, and machining parameters for diverse materials
• Ability to troubleshoot complex machining issues and optimize processes for efficiency and quality
