Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of 18 employees to excel in their roles, ensuring optimal performance and meeting tight schedules.
• Conduct thorough employee reviews and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate seamlessly with all departments to align efforts and achieve company objectives.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation of various machine tools.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions through keen observation and active listening, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Efficiently perform basic setups with minimal supervision, showcasing your technical expertise.
• Accurately calculate and set machine controls to regulate machining operations.
• Conduct first part inspections and in-process inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all documentation.
• Identify root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, contributing to the overall equipment upkeep.
• Utilize your expertise in reading and interpreting Customer prints, incorporating basic GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5-2018 or equivalent).
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of G and M codes.
• Showcase efficiency and speed in both mill and lathe setups, confidently handling any job with precision.
