Plant Manager

Plant Manager - Metro Detroit (relocation assistance is available)

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a confidential manufacturing client to find a Plant Manager for their new site in the Metro Detroit area. This role will have full responsibility for driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead daily plant operations and overall business performance
• Drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency
• Manage budgets, workforce planning, and operational priorities
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement efforts
• Develop and coach salaried and hourly teams in a union manufacturing environment
• Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve production and customer goals

• 7+ years of Plant Management experience
• Experience leading unionized manufacturing operations required
• Strong automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier background is required
• Proven background with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and cost improvement initiatives
• Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
