Experienced Bindery / Print Finishing Operator

First Shift | Full Time | Lansing, MI

$26–$30/hour, based on experience

Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Lansing is looking for an experienced printing-industry professional to join our production team.

You do not need experience on all of our equipment. If you are highly experienced in one or more of the following areas, we want to talk with you:

• Automated folding / Stahlfolder operation
• Muller Martini saddle stitching
• Die cutting and folder/gluer operation
• Commercial mailing and mail preparation

Our finishing department includes:

• Fully automated Stahlfolder with crusher/stacker and ultra-fast automated makeready
• Muller Martini saddle stitcher with 6-pocket gathering system and cover feeder
• Die-cutting and folder/gluer systems
• Commercial mailing and mail-processing equipment
• Additional commercial bindery and finishing equipment

We are looking for someone who understands commercial print production, takes pride in running equipment well, and can independently set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment.

The right candidate may specialize in folding, stitching, die cutting, folder/gluing, mailing, or another commercial bindery discipline.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Prior commercial printing or bindery experience
• Strong equipment setup and makeready skills
• Ability to troubleshoot production and quality issues
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to quality and detail
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of equipment
• A focus on productivity, waste reduction, and continuous improvement

Experience on every machine listed above is not required. We are more interested in finding an excellent operator with deep experience in at least one production area.
