Assembly and Test Operator – Weekend Shift

Work hours will be 5:00am – 5:30pm, Friday – Sunday, with Monday overtime as necessary. This is an hourly and overtime eligible position.

Operators work on teams assembling, testing and packaging hydraulic valves on various production lines in a temperature-controlled environment. No experience necessary. • Manual assembly of small components (with training)
• Standing up to twelve (12) hours or sitting for up to three (3) hours while operating machines or equipment
• Use of measuring tools including calipers, indicators, meters and gages (with training)
• Construction and interpretation, using manual or computerized methods of statistical quality control charts (with training)
• Packaging and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds
• Operation of hydraulic test systems (with training)
• Completion of routine shop paperwork, including basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
• Light machine maintenance, including oiling, cleaning and setup (with training)
• General housekeeping
• Use of loctites, epoxies and other manufacturing materials
• Plus other assigned duties

• High School diploma or equivalent required
