Working Hours:

6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday with OT on Fridays as needed. Includes 2 paid 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. No nights! No weekends!

Job Summary/Objective of Job

The Shift Cover Rebuilder is a key member of the Transmission Department, responsible for the complete and precise assembly of Shift Cover components in accordance with quality standards and production timelines. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of differential models, including their unique specifications and performance requirements.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuildtransmissionsaccording to established procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Accuratelyidentifyparts and components for varioustransmissionmodels.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure all rebuilttransmissionsmeet quality and performance standards.
• Maintainaccuraterecords of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve mechanical issues and improve processes.
• Assistin training new team members as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols andmaintaina clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Previous mechanical experience or training, preferably in automotive or heavy-duty equipment repairor assembly.
• Ability to use hand tools asrequiredfor assembly and repaid tasks.
• Strong understanding of differential systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability tolift
  50lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
