Job Summary: Fishbeck is seeking a Senior Pursuit Strategy Coordinator to lead marketing initiatives, drive proposal strategies, and support business development efforts. This role provides strategic direction for proposal development, branding, and corporate marketing initiatives while mentoring junior marketing staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for brand positioning, and the ability to manage complex projects to support Fishbeck’s growth.

Primary

Functions
  • Oversee the strategy and execution of proposal submissions, working closely with technical teams, BD, and marketing staff to develop compelling and compliant content.
  • Conduct and oversee market research to identify target markets, client opportunities, and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Enforce branding standards to ensure consistency with corporate marketing goals and industry best practices.
  • Serve as a key liaison with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project timelines, messaging, and deliverables.
  • Craft compelling marketing materials, including proposals, presentations, collateral, and digital content.
  • Oversee the production and assembly of marketing support materials, including qualifications packages, proposals, presentations, and interview materials.
  • Lead and support interview preparation, including content development, graphic design, and strategic messaging.
  • Ensure high-quality work output, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements; manage the writing and editing process.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for campaigns, trade shows, speaking engagements, awards submissions, social media, digital marketing, and PR efforts.
  • Takes a leadership role in organizing and managing industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance and training to junior marketing staff in messaging, proposal development, and branding consistency.
  • Participate in industry-hosted professional organizations (e.g., ACEC, SMPS) and stay informed of marketing trends within the A/E/C industry.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team to drive an integrated approach to marketing deliverables.
  • Play a key role in refining marketing processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and supporting the evolution of Fishbeck’s marketing and business development approach.
Minimum

Physical Requirements

Occasional light lifting, sitting, and walking. Work will occur in normal office conditions and require use of a computer. Accommodation may be made for qualified individuals who require and request such accommodation.

Desired Education / Licensure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Desired Skills / Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in an in-house marketing department, preferably within architecture, engineering, or consulting industries.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with digital asset management and client relationship management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Strong conceptual, typographic, and layout skills with an eye for design and branding consistency.
  • Proven track record in writing and developing comprehensive and creative marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, leadership, and clients.
  • Strong project management skills, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
