Communications Strategist / PR Manager
As the owner of our global PR strategy, you will play a key role in elevating our brand, driving thought leadership, and positioning Mendix—specifically Intelligence Center X—at the forefront of innovation. You’ll craft compelling stories, build strong media relationships, and enable our spokespeople to clearly articulate the impact of AI.

Responsibilities Lead PR Strategy & Agency ManagementManage global and regional PR agencies to develop strong narratives, secure media placements, and position Intelligence Center X as a key AI offering within the Mendix/Siemens brand.
Drive AI Thought LeadershipPosition Mendix and Siemens as leaders in AI by creating opportunities for executives to speak on the impact, innovation, and future of agentic AI.
Targeted Media AmplificationBuild relationships with top‑tier and technology‑focused media and influencers to amplify AI‑related PR initiatives and strengthen Mendix/Siemens’ leadership position.
Strategic Brand Positioning & CollaborationPartner closely with Siemens PR teams and leadership to ensure consistent, impactful messaging aligned to the AI‑driven value of Intelligence Center X.
Monitor & Optimize PerformanceTrack media coverage, AI trends, and competitive positioning to continuously refine PR strategy. Report on brand awareness and performance metrics.
About You- 7+ years of PR experience in B2B organizations
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance content
- Curious and informed on AI, communications, and B2B marketing trends
- Business‑minded, with the ability to connect PR efforts to growth outcomes
- Experience working in enterprise, account‑based environments
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and drive alignment
- Data‑driven mindset, using insights to guide decisions
