St Joseph's Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded on Christian values. It is made up of volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to help those in need feel safe and secure in their homes by providing free small home repairs, as well as information and resources via Julie's List. We serve over 1,700 clients with a strong base of almost 400 volunteers and work with a wide variety of clients in Southeastern Michigan and Central Kentucky.

St. Joseph’s Helpers has grown into a thriving organization, expanding services and reaching more families in need every year. Our mission has been recognized in news coverage highlighting community service. What began in Southeast Michigan now includes a strong chapter in Central Kentucky, and we are just getting started.

Volunteer Regional Directors

As our mission grows, we are seeking Volunteer Regional Directors to help launch and lead new chapters in communities across the country that are in need of compassionate support and practical help. Regional Directors will play a vital role in making that vision a reality.

Responsibilities
  • Lead with faith, integrity, and strategic vision to organize local volunteers
  • Build partnerships and networks to support new chapters
  • Launch and guide new metropolitan chapters to reach communities in need
  • Collaborate with the organization to achieve the goal of establishing four additional metropolitan chapters before the end of the year
Qualifications & Expectations
  • Commitment to the mission and values of St Joseph’s Helpers
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to recruit and manage volunteers
  • Experience in community outreach, partnerships, or nonprofit leadership is favorable
