Endoscopy Tech / Full Time / Days / 40 hrs / 8a-430p

Schedule:

Days, 8a-430p. Flex start time to meet patient case load, typically one hour earlier or later. On-call coverage required 1 full week/weekend rotated approximately every 5 weeks.

Supports endoscopic procedures by preparing the equipment, field and managing specimens.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.
• Interprets, describes and reports test results. Recognizes recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately.
• Monitors patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies and lab area.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURES REQUIRED
:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
:
High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of cumulative experience OR associate's degree/technical degree required.
