General Summary
:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health‑care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse.
Unit Overview
:
Float Pool – RN’s will maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. They are assigned at the beginning of each shift to the unit if needed. Assignment is according to certified level of care.

Education / Experience Required- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Previous 1.5–2 years of recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
