Registered Nurse (RN), Medical/Surgical Unit

Job Type: Full‑time 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp

Schedule:

6 x 12‑hour shifts, days 7Â a.m.–7Â p.m., rotating weekends and holidays

$7,500 sign‑on bonus available to qualified applicants

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families, and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

Applicants must hold a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).

• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS‑HCP)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
