Solid tumor cancers (breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, pancreatic), hematologic malignancies (lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma), anemia, neutropenia, dehydration, treatment-related side effects, immune-compromised patients, and symptom management. Special Procedures/Unit Details :
Adult outpatient oncology infusion center providing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood product administration, IV hydration, electrolyte replacement, iron infusions, injections, and supportive oncology care.

Experience with central line care including PICC lines and implanted ports, accessing/de-accessing ports, lab draws, patient education, symptom assessment, and management of infusion reactions. Care provided for scheduled infusion visits, same-day add-ons, and urgent symptom management. Multidisciplinary collaboration with oncology providers, pharmacy, and nurse navigators. EMR documentation, chemotherapy verification, and adherence to oncology safety protocols required. Special Equipment :
Alaris IV pumps, Infusystem chemotherapy pumps, implanted ports/Port-a-Cath access devices, PICC lines, central venous catheters, chemo spill kits, PPE for hazardous drugs, ultrasound IV. #Tier2 Travel Compliance Compliance Expectations :
Document due date is the Tuesday prior to start. RN License Policy : MI License must be active by start date. Recruitment should include pending license ETA in submission email, if applicable. Compact license not accepted in MI. Certification Policy : AHA preferred RTO Policy :
