Nurse Manager Position
Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state of the art 72-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Nurse Manager position.
The nursing manager is a registered nurse who provides direct care, leadership, direction, and supervision for all nursing care on their shift. The nursing manager also focuses on the following:
- Ensures all employees within their supervision serves as team players towards goals/objectives established by the management team
- Competent and skilled in assessing, planning, and delivering care for patients with co-occurring disorders
- Serves as the shift leader, role model and manager for the nursing staff
- Coordinates care giver responsibilities and delegates responsibilities to assure overall quality of care for patients
- Assesses the physical and emotional needs of the high-risk patients and level of milieu acuity
- Demonstrates awareness of the key elements of the treatment plans for all assigned patients
- Assists physicians and case managers in coordinating admissions, discharges, patient teaching and physical status needs
- Provides assessment of and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu
- Maintains professional standards of care, performance, and attitude

Qualifications Requirements:
- Current RN Licensure in the state of Michigan required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous psychiatric nursing experience required
- Excellent written, oral and leadership skills required
- CPR/Handle with Care certification preferred
