Locums - Trauma/General Surgery NP/PA Opportunity in Central Michigan

Locums - A well respected healthcare system is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Trauma and General Surgery experience to assist with inpatient night coverage in central Michigan.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Start ASAP for ongoing need
• 7on/7off schedule; 6p-6a nights only
• Dates include 6/23-6/28, 7/6-7/12, 7/20-7/26, 8/3-8/9, 8/17-8/23, 8/31-9/6, 9/14-9/20, 9/28-10/5
• Inpatient setting
• No call
• Duties include trauma activations, admissions, consults, surgical rounding and inpatient management of trauma, general surgery, ortho, urology, colorectal patients
• Will serve as first call for inpatient surgical services
• Proficient in suturing, central lines, art lines, and tube placement required
• Experience with urology consults, foley catheters, continuous bladder irrigation highly preferred
• EMR EPIC/Dragon
• Active MI license, DEA, AHA ACLS, AHA ATLS, recent case logs demonstrating minimum of 50 cases within the past 12 months required
