Description:
The Registered Nurse will float between Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby. This role requires the ability to work 3 weekends out of a 4-week schedule. Must have experience in handling facility births per month ranging from 100-200. Experience in high-risk obstetric care is preferred. Candidates must have the skills to provide postpartum care and newborn care. Administration of blood products and various therapeutic interventions will be required.
The candidate will also assist in deliveries and manage complications as needed. Support for breastfeeding and infant care education will be part of the role. Knowledge of patient triage and fetal monitoring is essential. The RN will need to maintain a high standard of care in accordance with hospital policies. Attention to documentation and charting is critical for patient safety and quality assurance.
